About Que Pasa Tours

Born in 2001, Que Pasa Tours was the brainchild of sisters, Mary Jo Paniello and Sarah Ann Valdes. Having worked at Getaway Travel and Cruises, which was owned by Mary Jo’s late husband, Augie Paniello, the sisters decided to move on and opened Que Pasa Tours, a home based agency, in 2001.

Both Mary Jo and Sarah Ann are well versed in the travel industry. The sisters have led group trips to Sicily, Egypt as well as doing individual travel for their clients.

They have taken groups on river cruises and European cruises as have also done many groups on Caribbean cruises.

Mary Jo and Sarah Ann are well know throughout the Tampa area and their expertise in travel and the vast knowledge they have acquired in their own individual travels makes Que Pasa Tours the friendly, caring agency that keeps it clientele happy no matter where they go.

Que Pasa is thrilled to continue its growth in Tampa.

Sandy Turkel was born and raised in Tampa and has been in the Travel Industry for the past 32 years. She trained at Travels Unlimited and then worked at Getaway Cruises and Travel until Mary Jo Paniello and Sarah Ann Valdes opened Que Pasa Tours.

Sandy was the first agent to work with Que Pasa Tours and has been instrumental in building the agency into the status is now holds with so many clients.

She is, first and foremost, customer caring and has a vast knowledge of the many different facets of travel, be it cruising, foreign independent travel or packages of travel in Europe, Asia or the United States.
